The Lose Weight Smoothie

For all of my fellow New Years Resolution makers, I have a fabulous recipe for you!  Ok, if you are like me and are trying to lose a little bit of weight or tone up a bit then this recipe is fabulous.  A big thank you to my sister in-law who works out constantly and eats these smoothies like crazy!  She doesn't have all the responsibilities that most adults have so we just have to put working out and our diets into our schedules the best way we can!
Have you tried any of these smoothies?

Well....yes they are all yummy but sometimes they aren't the best for you!  Try the recipe below for a fabulous smoothie that will completely curb your appetite for the day.  I usually have one for breakfast every morning (ok honestly...I need to get back to having them everyday. Today was Day 1!)  I tried having one for breakfast and lunch but I got a headache so, I decided on just one a day.

Lost Weight Smoothies
Ingredients:
-2 bananas (cut up)
-2 apples (cut up with skin left on)
-1/4 bottle of Pure Protein Shake (vanilla cream flavor)
-1 6 oz container of Yoplait Greek Yogurt (plain flavor)
-1/2 cup of oatmeal
-2 tbsp peanut butter (whipped and creamy)
-1 handful of almonds
-3 scoops of Flax (organic)
-ice (however much you want)

Put it all together for a great tasting smoothie!  One thing that I do is mix bit by bit instead of all at once because then it will take FOREVER and possibly break the blender! (my SIL broke like 3) You can also use different fruits too.  Use whatever tastes good to you! :)
Give it a try and see if you like it!  It really fills you up and you won't want to snack throughout the day!
Until later,
XOXO
